Nicola has been a qualified Veterinary Nurse since 2003 and began her career in the veterinary industry in 1996. Originally from Australia, she gained experience working in both mixed and small animal practices before moving to the UK in 2004. Shortly after arriving, she joined Maven - then known as Frean and Smyth Vets - as Head Nurse. After 16 years in that role, Nicola transitioned into her current position as Practice Manager in 2019.

In her role, Nicola brings a wealth of clinical knowledge and leadership experience. She enjoys the dynamic and rewarding nature of practice management, where she continues to support all areas of the practice - both clinical and non-clinical - while ensuring the highest standards of care for clients and their beloved pets.

Nicola has been passionate about animals her entire life and has spent over two decades working closely with them. Outside of work, she enjoys quality time with family and friends, practicing yoga, and exploring new places through travel. She has recently added a new member to her family - Roxy, a playful labradoodle.
