Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Medicine.

Kate graduated from University of Bristol in 2012 and worked for two years in a small animal practice in Dorking before joining Maven Vets (previously Frean and Smyth Vets) in 2014.

Kate enjoys all aspects of being a vet but has a particular interest in complicated medical cases and inpatient care. She also has a particular soft spot for spaniels! Kate returned from maternity leave in January 2022 and now works part time, 4 days a week.

Kate's hobbies include swimming and running and she enjoys gardening, reading and eating out with friends. She loves to spend quality time with her family: her husband, son and lovely dog Ivy. Kate is currently on her second maternity leave and plans to return to Maven in March 2024.
