Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Medicine.

Kate graduated from Royal Veterinary College in 2010 and initially worked for 2 years at a small animal practice in Hampshire before travelling and doing some locum work in the Blue Mountains in Australia. On her return to the UK, Kate worked in small animal practices in Ealing and Hersham before joining Maven Vets in January 2020.
Kate enjoys all aspects of her job but especially likes getting to know both the client and their pets. She enjoys the challenge of a complex case, especially when a diagnosis can make a big difference to the animal.

Kate returned to work In August 2022 after maternity leave and now works part time, four days a week.

As Kate is a Mum she doesn't have a lot of spare time! But when she does she enjoys getting out into nature; hiking, skiing and travelling. When she is feeling creative, Kate enjoys drawing, particularly of animals.
